sitelen sitelen cheat sheet

Just a simple cheat sheet of the sitelen sitelen glyphs.

Basically just the charts from mr. Jonathan Gabel's site cut up and stitched together into a single page.

The chart includes all nimi pu along with the nimi ku suli.

As far as i can tell, mr.Jonathan either did not or has not made any glyphs for the nimi ku lili, let alone the more obscure nimi sin.

Though, i have seen that some community members have made unofficial sitelen sitelen glyphs for ones that don't have them yet; you can see them for yourself here, at sona pona in each of the word's entries.

The following chart is for the non-logograph glyphs of sitelen sitelen.

As a reminder, here's the basics of the orthography:

  • It is completely valid to write a word with the syllable glyphs if you happen to not know or forget the logograph.
  • Vowel marks are drawn inside of the consonant glyphs.
  • A syllable with a final n has the -n tail glyph written below the syllable glyph.
  • The vowel marks for i and u may be rotated or placed in any orientation.
  • Punctuation is written at the bottom of the entire sentence glyph group where that punctuation is needed.
  • Cartouches work as expected; grouping syllable glyphs into proper names or unofficial words.
  • Capsules are cartouches, but for official toki pona words.
__Capsules are used to separate syllable glyphs in case multiple words spelled with these glyphs run into each other.

  • It should be noted that some glyphs may be rotated; the logographs for e and pi, for example; the bumpy parts may be placed on any other side; not every glyph has to match exactly how it officially looks.
